News Release by Jon Maples
On July 16, 2016, Officers of the Hamilton Police Department and Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office began an investigation into the illegal use of narcotics and narcotic equipment. After further investigation, officers of the Hamilton Police Department arrested a 35 year old male for possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute, possession of a controlled substance, and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. The subject was later charged in the Caldwell County court system and is being held on a $50,000.00 cash only bond. We would like to thank Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance in this investigation along with the Caldwell County courts.
Our job here at Hamilton Police Department is to get the drugs off of the streets and keep the streets safe to ensure a safe and happy community.
