Results of Caldwell County Municipal Elections

The results of the General Municipal Election of April 5th in Caldwell County are as follows. Only contested races are given on this report, the results of propositions and the passage of road taxes. See the next edition of the Caldwell County News for a full report.

Propositions of a continued road tax for all townships of Breckenridge, Kidder, Kingston, Grant, New York, Lincoln, Davis were passed.

Hamilton School Proposition 2 passed with 333 votes

Mirabile School Proposition 2 passed with 56 votes

City of Hamilton Proposition passed with 185 votes

One Board Member for 2-year Term – Matt Sievering (write in)

 

Hamilton R-2 for 2 Board of Directors – 3 Yr Term

Jerry Cook and Will Railsback

 

Kingston 42 School District for 2 Directors – 3 Yr Term

There were 7 people (write-ins) with 2 votes each

 

School District No. R-VII of Caldwell County for two Board of Directors – 3 Yr Term

Jeff Gentry and Shane Rardon

 

City of Breckenridge for Mayor – Matt Sievering with 3 Write-In Votes

One East Ward Alderman for 2-Yr Term – Willis “Buster” McIntire

One West Ward Alderman for 2-Yr Term – Johny Campbell with 4 Write-In Votes

 

City of Hamilton Board of Directors -2 Yr Term

One East Ward – Sherria Kavanaugh

 

City of Kidder for 2 Board of Directors for 2 Yr Terms

Chris Bratcher and David McEwen

 

City of Kingston for Mayor for 2 Yr Term

Debbie Fleming with 2 Write-In Votes

 

City of Cowgill for Mayor for 2 Yr Term

Mary Williams with 18 Write-In Votes
