Tony Ray Miller, age 40, of Kingston, MO, passed away on May 7, 2012 at Liberty Hospital in Liberty.
Tony was born on Dec. 6, 1971 in Richmond to Donald and Laurel Coshow Miller. He was a 1990 Polo High School graduate. Tony had worked for his family’s business, Miller Construction, for approximately 20 years, and had been a truck driver for Keim in 2005.
Tony had recently been elected to the position of Mayor for the city of Kingston, as well as a member of the Kingston Volunteer Fire Department, and a past member of Pheasants Forever. On Feb. 15, 1998, he married Carrie Penrod in South Padre Island, TX. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include two daughters, Kaitlyn and Matison Miller, of the home; parents, Donnie and Laurel Miller of Kingston; sister, Wendy (Steven) Harris of Kearney and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
Tony was preceded in death by his daughter, Hallie; sisters, Missy and Stacy and his grandparents.
A funeral service was held Friday, May 11, at the Kingston Church of the Nazarene. A visitation was held Thursday evening at the church. Interment was held in Kingston Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Tony’s Daughters’ Educational Fund.
