Nathaleen (Spidle) Kinne, age 79, of Hamilton, MO, passed away on April 18, 2013, at Heartland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph. She had lived in Caldwell County her entire life.
Nathaleen was born on May 10, 1933, in Caldwell County, to Lloyd Virgil and Esther Nell Harper Spidle. She was a 1951 Breckenridge High School graduate. She had been a homemaker, a farm wife to her husband, and had previously worked at Parkside Fashions in Cameron.
Nathaleen was a member of the Hamilton Federated Church in Hamilton and had been a past member of the Young Farm Wives. She had been involved in 4-H with her children and enjoyed books, reading, cooking and decorating.
On Sept. 28, 1952, she married Fina Kinne, Jr., in Breckenridge. They had celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary and he preceded her in death in 2012. She also was preceded by her parents.
Survivors include daughters, Pam (Bill) Englert of Hamilton and Linda (Jerry) Wilson of Kidder; son, Keith (Shelly) Kinne of Eagleville; brother, Norman Spidle of Kansas City, KS; sister, Nigel (Ralph) Hall of Lake Winnebago, and brother, Nevin (Tammy) Spidle of Independence; 11 grandchildren, Scott Englert of Kansas City, Sara Lasher of Hamilton, Sandra Beth Steggall of St. Joseph, Shawn Englert of Hamilton, Jenny Hill of Chillicothe, Clint Wilson of Liberty, Lucas Wilson of Kidder, Jeremy Kinne of Hamilton, Zachary Kinne of Washington, D.C., Shane Kinne of Ashland, and Sadie Kinne of Eagleville; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Monday, April 22, 2013, at the Hamilton Federated Church. A visitation was held on Sunday, April 21, at the church. Interment was at Highland Cemetery in Hamilton.
