Leading the tackles for the night #33 Robbie Shoe tied with McCulley.O'Dell runs for some of his leading 164 yards on the night.Senior night was held Friday night, Oct. 9, during the Braymer/Princeton game. The last home game of the season honors senior fall sports athletes and their parents.

Bobcat win over Princeton

What a way to end your home game career for the seniors, Drake Parker, Logan O'Dell, Wade Phillips, and Paul Atherton.

Your fans could not be more proud of the Bobcats and the way you have represented the school, especially the last two games. The sportsmanship that you have shown is a good example for the younger boys to see. After watching football for several years, it is still very impressive what head Coach Railsback has done with these young men. No, they haven't won every game, but the variety of plays on offense and aggressive defense has proven too much for some of the teams this year. The only drawback is the number of players on the team, which at times proves to be their downfall. The talent and the drive is there and they have proven this at several games. Thanks also to assistant coaches, Brad Clariday and Keith Edmonston for helping shape these young men.

Friday night the Bobcats faced  Princeton. Princeton was known for passing, so Coach Railsback shuffled up the defense a little bit. Princeton received the first kick-off and marched right down the field and scored from the 2 yard line and got the 2 point conversion, going up 8 to 0. The Bobcats answered right back and the speed bullet  R. Atherton ran in an 11 yard touchdown. Princeton had to punt on their next possession. This resulted in a 4 yard touchdown run by O'Dell. The 2 point conversion pass to Hall was good. Princeton drove down to the 2 yard line and the Bobcat's stealth defense stripped the ball and Phillips recovered the fumble for a touch back. Braymer started their drive from the 20 and  scored on a 29 yard pass to A. Hall from Phillips. The extra point kick was good by Parker. The Bobcats went in at half up 21 to 8.

Braymer received the ball after half and this resulted in a 38 yard touchdown run by R. Atherton. Braymer tried their luck at an on side kick and  McElwee scooped up the ball. Steam-roller O'Dell led the drive and got the Cats down to the 4 yard line. Penalties backed the Cats up to the 8 and on 4th down, Phillips connected with his tall tight end A. Hall for a touchdown.  Princeton got their second score of the night with a seven yard pass and the 2 point conversion was good. Princeton then attempted an on side kick, but the Bobcats freshman D. Jeffers was able to cover the ball. This resulted in good field position on the 45 yard line. Braymer was able to take advantage of this and O'Dell ran in a 6 yard touchdown. The 2 point conversion was ran in by R. Atherton.  Freshman on fire,  McCulley intercepted a pass from Princeton and ran the ball back 45 yards before being tackled. Unfortunately, the Bobcats were unable to convert and for the first time for the night, turned the ball over on downs. Princeton had to punt on their next drive.  Senior D. Parker was able to run the 2 yard touchdown in to put the Bobcats up 47-16 to end the game.

Good job Bobcats! Come support your Bobcats at Gallatin next Friday, the season is  winding down. Again, thank you Seniors for making your Bobcat fans proud on your last home game. L. O'Dell led the rushing yards with 164 yards with 2 touchdowns. R. Atherton was close behind with 146 yards and 2 touchdowns. J. Dudley rushed for 53 yards, Phillips had 24 yards and Parker had 3 yards with 1 touchdown. The defense only allowed 2 touchdowns and otherwise shut Princeton down for the night. Leading the defensive drive was R. Shoe and C. McCulley with 7 tackles each, and McCulley also had the interception. L. O'Dell had 6tackles, R. Atherton with  5, J. Gateswith 4, A. Hall and J. Dudley with 3,  P. Atherton and D. Parker with 2, D. Jeffers, G. Ryals and W. Phillips with 1. Phillips also recovered the fumble and connected for 65 yards passing.
