Braymer Bobcats Outscore Wildcats 61-42

Braymer headed to Ludlow on Tuesday night to take on the Southwest Wildcats.

The first quarter was pretty fast paced and ended with a score of 18 to 16.The Braymer boys were having a little trouble with rebounding and Coach Cox discussed this at the end of the quarter.

In the second quarter the Bobcats went up by 4 with a little over 3 minutes in the quarter, but the Wildcats pulled ahead with a little less than a minute left in the quarter. The Wildcats took the lead to the locker room, up 27 to 25.

Once again, the  half-time talk must have been good. When asking Coach Cox what did you say at half, he said, "we just played up to  our potential the second half." Well, that is the truth. Braymer came out and played THEIR defense and offense. Stealing the ball, running their plays, and rebounding put the Bobcats up by 7 with 5:43 left in the quarter.  By the end of 3, Braymer pulled ahead by 9, holding the Wildcats to only 10 points. Sometimes, half-time talks are magic.

The fourth quarter was controlled by Braymer, pulling ahead by as much as 21 at one point. Most of Braymer's bench got court time in the 4th. Braymer held Southwest to only 5 points this quarter. Braymer recorded 20 steals for the night, 7 of them from O'Dell. Final score 61 to 42.
