Braymer plays homecoming game in Norborne

Due to the field not being quite ready yet, Braymer had to travel to Norborne for homecoming. That didn't stop the crowd from following the Cats and the boys appreciate the support by the alumni that came the extra 30 minutes.

Braymer, unfortunately had 3 of their players side-lined with injuries from previous games. Braymer kicked-off to begin the game. Norborne was able to bring the ball down the field for a touchdown on this possession. Braymer lost another starter, Jason Gates, early in this game to a knee injury. Braymer turned the ball over on downs on their first possession. The Aggies capitalized on this and scored again. Not to be discouraged, Braymer's Robbie Shoe took the kick-off to the house with a 68 yard return for a touchdown. That was all the offensive scoring the Cats were able to do. The Aggies went into the half up 52 to 6.

In the second half, the Aggies scored another two touchdowns and 2 point conversions. Final score 64 to 6. Braymer also lost senior starter Derrick McElwee during this game to an ankle injury.

Leaders for the game: Robbie Shoe with 33 rushing yards and a 68 yard touchdown return. Dylan Jeffers had 11 tackles. Offense: T. O'Dell with 12 rushing yards and C. Henderson had 8. Defensive: R. Shoe with 6 tackles, J. Olsen and C. Henderson with 4. J. Gates, D. Kimberling and G. Ryals with 2, N. Hedrick and T. O'Dell with 1. Special teams: R. Shoe with total of 104 yards on kick-off return with the 1 touchdown run.

Braymer will travel to Albany next Friday for the game. Come out and support your team. The boys may be down in numbers due to injuries, but as the football shirts the fans have this year say, "talk with your pads, play with your heart." These boys certainly play with their heart. Good luck Friday Bobcats!
