Lady Hornets Downed by North Platte

The North Platte Panthers hosted the Lady Hornets in Dearborn last Friday night in a KCI matchup.
The host team took charge of this game in the first quarter with an 18-7 lead after 8 minutes of play. North Platte would extend their advantage to 31-9 at the half. The Lady Hornets played their best quarter in the game and out scored the Lady Panthers 9-8 in the 3rd, but the talented North Platte girls, led by Erin Manville's 14 points, won the game 55-28.
Tegan Bruce scored 8 points to lead Penney High. Kassie Moore and Meredith Clevenger scored 5 apiece, Mariah Blackburn made 4, while Cydnee Kipp, McKauley Prothero, and Skyler Adkison each had 2. Hamilton made 4 of 12 from the charity stripe to 10 of 13 for the Lady Panthers.
