Annual Soil Fertility School to Be Held at Oregon

Growers are preparing for next year’s crop season and making plans, especially given the price of grain.  One of the most important input costs are fertilizers and it is important to understand the complexity of fertilizer management to make good decisions. Growers, certified crop advisers and dealers are invited to participate in a school focused on understanding and increasing one’s knowledge in fertilizing crops.

Those interested are invited to attend a two-day meeting to be held Wednesday, December 21 and Thursday, December 22. The meetings will run from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., both days. This will be a condensed version of our soil fertility series of evening meetings we have held in the past.  We are using this format this year to allow growers from other counties to attend and provide more flexibility to upcoming winter meeting schedules.

Pre-registration is required to attend so materials can be ordered. There is a fee to cover school materials and instructor expenses.  The meeting will be held at the TJ Hall Building, Oregon.
