Lawrence Wilbur Clevenger

Lawrence Wilbur Clevenger, age 85, of Clinton, MO, passed away Feb. 21, 2017. Lawrence was born Jan. 7, 1932, in Norborne, the son of Amos and Etta Clevenger. He married Charlene Riner on May 19, 1951.

Lawrence was a retired electrician from the Kansas City School District. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping.

Lawrence is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Francis Clevenger; two sisters, Beverly Miller and Juanita Clevenger; and his second wife, Fay Clevenger.

Lawrence is survived by his first wife, Charlene Kraemer and one sister, Rosemary Oswald. He is also survived by his son, Mike Clevenger (Connie); his daughter, Rita Moore (Danny); and a stepson, Chris Sipes; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017, at Evergreen Cemetery in Braymer. The family will receive friends prior to interment from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home in Braymer.
