Ella Mae Leeper

Ella Mae Leeper, age 85, of Hamilton, MO, formerly of Cowgill, passed away on Feb. 21, 2020, at Cameron Regional Medical Center in Cameron.

Ella was born on March 17, 1934, in Verona, to Ed and Rachel Synder Brink. She was a homemaker. She was united in marriage to Fred Leeper on Feb. 23, 1951, in Golden. He preceded her in death.

Ella was also preceded in death by her parents, a son, daughter, brother and sister.

She was an active member of the Hamilton Baptist Church and always helped in the kitchen. Ella loved to play BINGO, garden, sew, repair clothing for others, embroidery, solve world search puzzles, and she loved to talk and visit. She was a hard worker and a strong Christian who knew the Bible and took in her sister's children to raise. 

Survivors include her son, Freddie of Joplin, daughter, Alice, and numerous grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, Feb. 27, 2020, at Bram Funeral Home in Hamilton. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Cowgill Cemetery in Cowgill.
