Archie Linville

Archie Linville, age 93, of Gallatin, MO, passed away Saturday, Aug. 27, 2016, at Hillcrest Manor Nursing Home in Hamilton.

Archie was born Aug. 12, 1923, the son of Sinyard and Nettie (Place) Linville near Gallatin. Archie joined the Army Air Force in 1943, serving his country for two years during World War II. Archie was a farmer, carpenter, electrician and plumber, but first and foremost, a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.

Archie was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Alice; daughter, Peggy Jones; and his siblings, Roy, Elsie, Hardy, Gladys and Everett; and three great-grandsons.

Archie is survived by his daughters, Connie Dixon, Pat Richardson and Carol Cline, all of Hamilton; nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

No services are planned. Inurnment will be at the McCrary Cemetery near Gallatin. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the McCrary Cemetery in care of McWilliams Funeral Home in Gallatin. Online condolences may be left at www.mcwilliamsfuneralhome.
