Betty Jacquelyn Beckett

Betty Jacquelyn Beckett, age 86, of Loveland, CO, passed away Wednesday evening, June 9, 2021. She was born Feb. 20, 1935, in Mirabile, to Vern and Verna Cooper. She was married to Bill J. Beckett on Sept. 2, 1956, who survives in Loveland, CO.

Betty was a long time resident of Loveland, CO, where she lived with Bill and their children, after leaving her childhood home in Mirabile at the tender age of 21.

She enjoyed going to church services, signing for the deaf during services, reading the Bible, gardening and canning. She had a deep commitment to God and His Son, Jesus Christ.

Survivors include her husband, Bill J. Beckett; three sons, John K. Beckett of Red Feather Lakes, CO, Ben L. Beckett of Loveland, CO, and Joe L. Beckett of Gillette, WY; three daughters-in-law; two of her brothers, Lee Cooper of Kingston and James Cooper of Cameron, and a sister, Phyllis (Cooper) Parker, of Mirabile; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Michael Cooper of Kingston.

Funeral services were held on June 14 at The Cowboy Church in Loveland, CO. Memorials are suggested to the Billy Graham Ministries (www.billygraham.org), 1 Billy Graham Parkway, Charlotte, NC 28201, or to The Cowboy Church, 5505 West Eisenhower Blvd., Loveland, CO 80538.
