Byrl Gene Alexander

Byrl Gene Alexander, age 75, of North Kansas City, MO, passed away Aug. 16, 2016. Byrl was born Sept. 14, 1940, to Wyatt and Ada (Davis) Alexander in Nettleton. He married the love of his life, Jodelle Shoemaker, and they would of celebrated 47 years of marriage in Sept. He was a member of the First Christian Church in North Kansas City.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Harold Alexander and Maynard Alexander; and a beloved grandson, Jordon Tyler Arndt.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Jodelle Alexander; his daughter and son-in-law, Trilica and Jimmy Arndt; and his brother, Raymond Alexander; along with many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Sept. 14, 2016, at Raphael Chapel, 5401 N. Sycamore Ave., Kansas City, Mo. 64119, where the family will greet friends immediately following.
