Carole Regina (Shooshan) Jensen

Carole Regina (Shooshan) Jensen, 88 years old, formerly of Braymer, transitioned from this life on December 22, 2024, in Austin, Texas. Carole was born on November 3, 1936 in Boston, Massachusetts to Kazar “Ky” Shooshan and Elna (Quist) Shooshan; Carole was the second oldest of five children. She attended high school in Wareham, Massachusetts; after graduating, she attended Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln, Nebraska. While there, she met and married her husband, Dr. Wilmer “Red” Jensen. Carole graduated from the University of Missouri – Kansas City with a BA in Political Science/History and a minor in German. They eventually settled in Norborne and eventually Braymer, Missouri. Carole served on the school board for Braymer C-4 Schools and the Carroll County Planning and Zoning Commission. She enjoyed sewing, picking berries, reading, travel and spending time with her family, particularly her grandson, Wyatt. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother (Michael Shooshan) and a sister (Nancy Shooshan). She is survived by her daughter Eva (Jensen) Martinez (Alonzo) and grandson (Wyatt “Little Bird” Martinez) of Austin, Texas as well as her brothers Kazar Richard “Dick” Shooshan (Carol), and Robert Edwin “Bob” Shooshan (Mary).
