Charles "Charley" E. Allsup, 87, Hamilton, MO., passed away on March 28, 2025, at the Daviess County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Gallatin, MO.

Charley was born on October 3, 1937, in Gallatin, MO., to Thomas H. and Lennis F. (Woods) Allsup. Charley served his country in the Army in 1961. He worked for 20 years as a boiler operator for Western Missouri Correctional Center. He previously was employed for the State of Missouri working construction and was proud of the fact that he had helped to build highways- Interstate 29 and Hwy 36, he was employed at the Gallatin, MO., MFA, as well as working for the City of Hamilton for many years as a water and street department employee.

Charley attended his son's and all of his grandchildren's activities and sporting events, and he loved to go on country drives with his wife and son. He had a love for animals and really enjoyed spending time drinking coffee and telling stories with the fellow "coffee guys" at Winslow Feed and the local gas stations.

Preceding Charley in death were his parents, his brother and sister-in-law-Bill and Carmen Allsup, his brother-in-law-Clyde Heldenbrand, and his beloved dog Peanut.

On June 14, 1963, he married Margurite Milligan in Hamilton. She survives Charley, as well as their son, Ryan (Megan) Allsup, Kidder, MO.; 3 grandchildren-Atison Leigh Allsup, Rylan Thomas Allsup, and Becker Wain Allsup; his sister-Shirley Heldenbrand, Ozark, MO.; and his beloved dog Skippy.

Funeral Service: 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton.

Formal Visitation: 1 to 2 p.m., 1 hour prior to the service, on Tuesday, April 1, at Bram Funeral Home.

Inurnment will be at a later date at Highland Cemetery, Hamilton, MO.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Memory Care Unit of Daviess County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Gallatin, MO.

Friends may call at Bram Funeral Home on Monday, March 31, 2025 from 10 a.m., until 5 p.m.
