Darlene Grant

Darlene Grant, age 88, of Hamilton, MO, passed away on Sept. 9, 2021, at the Hillcrest Manor Nursing Home in Hamilton. She lived in Hamilton since 1963 and previously lived in Trenton and Half Rock.

Darlene was born on April 10, 1933, in Harris, to Darwin and Arlene (Hammond) Dill. She graduated from the Trenton High School. Darlene married Robert William (Bob) Grant, Sr., on Sept. 16, 1950, in Trenton. She was a homemaker and a member, minister's wife, and church secretary at the Hamilton Federated Church.

She formerly was also a member of DAR, PEO, Order of the Eastern Star, Garden Club, and Bridge Club.

Darlene was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Verlene; and grandson, Drew Grant.

Survivors include her children, Robert Grant, Jr. (Sharon) of Hamilton, Steven Grant (Deanna) of Hamilton, and Teresa Bavisotto (David) of Oconomowoc, WI; ten grandchildren (one deceased); and 11 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 14, at the Hamilton Federated Church. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., Monday, Sept. 13, at Bram Funeral Home in Hamilton. Interment will be at Highland Cemetery in Hamilton. Memorials may be made to the Hamilton Federated Church.
