Dorothy Fay Cline

Dorothy Fay Cline, age 89, of Brookfield, MO, passed away early Tuesday morning on Dec. 11, 2018, at the Life Care Nursing Home. She had suffered a stroke one week earlier at her home in Brookfield.

Mrs. Cline spent most of her life in Caldwell County and resided in Hamilton until 1995, when she and her husband J.W. moved to Brookfield to be close to one of her two daughters, Ava Hicks. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Hamilton for several decades, and the last 13 years was a member of Park Baptist Church in Brookfield.

Mrs. Cline is survived by her son David Cline of Hardin; daughter Pamela Drumm of Port Charlotte, FL; daughter, Ava Hicks and son, Danny Cline, both of Brookfield; seven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and four great great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Cline; father and mother; ten sisters; two brothers; and two grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be Friday, Dec. 14, 2018, at the Wright Funeral Home in Brookfield. A celebration of life service will be held at noon. A visitation will take place from 11 a.m. to noon, prior to the service followed by a graveside service at Highland Cemetery in Hamilton at 2 p.m., followed by internment.
