Dorothy Jeane Usher

Dorothy Jeane Usher age 77, of Cameron, passed away on June 25, 2022, at Liberty Hospital in Liberty.  Dorothy moved to Cameron 23 years ago from Hamilton, where she lived most of her life and raised her children.

Dorothy was born on Dec.18, 1944, in St. Joseph, to Lloyd and Avanell (Hatton) Henderson.  She graduated from the Penney High School in Hamilton.  Dorothy worked for and retired from Cameron Insurance Company in Cameron.  Gardening, flowers, and playing cards were hobbies Dorothy enjoyed, but especially she treasured her family and time with them.   

Preceding Dorothy in death were her parents; her son, Charles Henley; her first husband, Larry Hosman; and her second husband, Bill Henley.  

Dorothy married Richard Usher in 2011.  He survives of the home.

Additional survivors include; children; Clifford and Mindy Henley of Hamilton; Stephanie and Jerry Hartman of Cameron; Debra and Steve Heldenbrand of Kidder; and Kenneth and Polly Henley of Hamilton; 13 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Celebration of Life Service will be held be at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 30, 2022, at Bram Funeral Home in Hamilton.

Interment is located at Highland Cemetery in Hamilton.

Memorials can be made to The American Cancer Society, in care of the funeral home.

There is no formal, scheduled visitation.
