Harold Oliver McKee

Harold Oliver McKee, age 75, died Oct. 10, at Marshfield Care Center. He was born Feb. 21, 1944, to Ray and Bertha (Cole) McKee, of rural Hamilton. He grew up and attended school at Hamilton and was a member of the 1962 graduating class.

He worked for the Missouri Department of Transportation for 31 years. He married Violet (Payton) Holden on June 2, 1988. After retirement, they moved to Conway. He was a member of the Ozark Community Chapel.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Martha Yake; brother, Clifford McKee; niece, Christina; and step great-grandson, Maddox.

Survivors include his wife, Violet, of the home; sister, Nancy Millikan of Hamilton; nieces, Lisa, Lori, Robin, Trina and Stacie; nephews, Morgan, Tyson, Blace and Ryan; several great-nieces and nephews; two stepchildren; eight step grandchildren; and two step great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was held Oct. 12, 2019, at Oakside Cemetery in Summersville.
