Herbert Ralph Howard

Herbert Ralph Howard, age 87, of Richmond, MO, formerly of Braymer, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, Aug. 21, 2021.

Mr. Howard was born on Dec. 23, 1933, in Hamilton, the son of Walter Leon and Pauline (Connor) Howard. Herbert was united in marriage to Georgia “Arnelle” Kepley of Braymer on March 15, 1952; she preceded him in death on Feb. 12, 2013.

Herbert was reared and educated in Hamilton and graduated from the Hamilton High School. He then attended Barber College in Kansas City. Herbert would go on to practice his profession for 40 years, 37 in Richmond and three in Braymer. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, working in his yard, and taking his dog, Bosley, for walks and rides in his car. He was of the Christian faith.

Survivors include his daughter, Norma Corle (Marty) of Richmond; and his companion, Billie Lee VanTrump of Richmond.

Herbert was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 25, at Richmond Memory Gardens. The family humbly requests for those wishing to a make memorial donations, that they be made to the Ray County Humane Society.
