Joseph Edward Potts

Joseph Edward Potts, age 77, of Hamilton, MO, formerly of Cameron, passed away on July 1, 2017, at the Hillcrest Manor Nursing Home in Hamilton. He had lived in the Cameron and Caldwell County area his entire life.

Joe was born on Aug. 3, 1939, in Caldwell County, to Lawrence and Devota (Cook) Potts. He graduated from the Hamilton High School in 1957, served his country in the National Guard, and worked as a farmer. He was a member of the Catholic Church.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, John and Bill.

Survivors include his daughter, Tammy Reed of Dearborn; son, Bud Potts of Cameron; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and brother, Junior Potts of Hamilton.

Cremation was entrusted to Bram Funeral Home in Hamilton. A graveside inurnment service will be held on July 10, 2017, at 2:00 p.m., at the Kenney Cemetery in Kidder. Arrangements are under the direction of Bram Funeral Home in Hamilton. www.bramfuneralservices.com.
