Judy Kay Korach

Judy Kay Korach, age 79, of Arma, Kansas, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2024 surrounded by loved ones. 

 

Born on May 6, 1945 in Clinton, Missouri, Judy Korach was the beloved daughter of A.W. (Alvin Wyatt) and Virginia Pruessner.

Judy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.  She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories. 

 

She attended school in Kingsville, Missouri and Holden, Missouri and went on to work at Lake City Ammunition Plant, Pfizer, John Knox Village, and The First National Bank of Girard. 

 

She married John Korach September 26, 1976, and together they built a beautiful life filled with laughter, adventure, and unconditional love. 

 

Judy is survived by her husband John, her children Kim Bradsahw (John) and Todd Smith (Julie), grandchildren Latisha Ortiz, Thomas Smith, Ethan Smith, Rebekah Crocker, Mallory Smith, Wyatt Smith, Jessica Burch, Angela Filorio, and many great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Jerry Pruessner (Shelia), many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

 

She will be remembered for her warm smile, generous spirit, and unwavering faith. Her presence brought joy to everyone she encountered, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

 

A celebration of her life will be held at Arma Golden Era (619 Washington St Arma, Kansas 66712) January 19, 2025 at 2:00pm, with a dessert reception to follow.
