Lois June Albertson
Lois June Albertson, age 84, of Hastings, NE, formerly of Polo, MO, entered eternal life Aug. 25, 2016, surrounded by her loving family at a care facility in Hastings.
Lois entered this life on Oct. 6, 1931, the daughter of Carl and Margarette (Neill) Lewellyn in New York. She grew up and lived in the Cowgill, Kingston and Polo area. Mrs. Albertson was a 1950 graduate of Polo High School. On June 11, 1950, she was united in marriage to M.L. Albertson in Kansas City. Lois was a homemaker and worked for Green Hills Head Start. After the passing of M.L. in 2010, she moved to Hastings, NE to be near her daughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a brother, Donald Dean Lewellyn; and a daughter, LyDale June Sidebottom.
She leaves to mourn her passing her daughter, Carleen Arnold of Hamilton; son, Michael (Carla) Albertson of Cameron, son Carl (Tammie) Albertson of Hamilton, and daughter, Eileen (Tom) Dawes of Juniata, NE. Also surviving Lois are 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her friends and family.
A visitation will be held on Friday, Sept. 2, 2016, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Kingston Church of the Nazarene in Kingston. A memorial graveside service will follow at Cowgill Cemetery in Cowgill. Flowers are appreciated and memorials are suggested to the Kingston Church of the Nazarene or Cowgill Cemetery in memory of Lois J. Albertson.
