Marcella “Marcy” Ann Darr

Marcella “Marcy” Ann Darr, age 66, of Cameron, passed away on Nov. 12, 2018.

Marcy was born on Dec. 19, 1951, in Cameron to Marvin and Mildred (Bennett) Gilbert.

She was a 1969 graduate of Penney High School in Hamilton. She worked as a cook at The Village Health Care.

She was preceded in death by her father, Marvin, and two infant brothers, Lloyd and Floyd.

Survivors include her son, Gilbert Ray Darr of St. Joseph; two daughters, Sheila (Rodney) McMillen of Gower and Shelly Carr of Cameron; mother, Mildred Gilbert of Hamilton; two brothers, Marvin (Regina) Gilbert of Sugar Creek and Joe Gilbert of Florence; and three grandchildren, Makenna McMillen, Makayla McMillen and Ashton Carr.

Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 16, at the Hamilton United Methodist Church in Hamilton. A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., prior to the service at the church.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Poland-Thompson Funeral Home for expenses.
