Mary Thompson

Mary (Nadine) Thompson, age 85, of Harrisonville and Clinton, MO, formerly of Carrollton, passed away at the Crown Care Center in Harrisonville on July 2, 2017.

Nadine was born on Jan. 23, 1932, in Lewistown, MT, to Shirley Moore and Icea Eleanor (Lewellen) Lyon. She was a graduate of the Penney High School in Hamilton. Nadine was a homemaker and a very active member of the First Baptist Church of Carrollton.

Nadine was married to William “Bill” Thompson on Jan. 7, 1951, in Hamilton. He preceded her in death in 2009. She was also preceded by her parents and three siblings, Max and Don Lyon and Helen Snyder.

Survivors include daughters, Vicki McNeese of Denver, CO and Leann (Joe) Floyd of Creighton; five grandchildren, Joe, William and Kristin Floyd, and Marissa and Alaina Henderson; one sister-in-law, Cleta Frazier; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service and interment will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, July 7, at Highland Cemetery in Hamilton. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Carrollton. Arrangements are under the direction of Bram Funeral Home in Hamilton. www.bramfuneralservices.com.
