Myron Joseph “Joe” Wiedmier

Myron Joseph “Joe” Wiedmier - Age 85, of Taylor, TX passed away Mar. 18, 2023 at Rose Assisted Living in Round Rock, TX.  Joe was born Sept. 26, 1937 in Braymer,  to Jewell and Violet (Hamblin) Wiedmier. He married Darlene (Miller) Wiedmier on June 21, 1959 at Dockery Baptist Church in Richmond.

Joe graduated from Braymer High School in 1955 He worked as a homebuilder for many years, having built many homes in the northern suburbs of Kansas City and his own home on Bobcat Ave in Braymer. He also built the educational building addition at the First Baptist Church in Braymer and numerous other buildings.

In 2012, Joe & Darlene relocated to Central Texas to be closer to their daughthers. They were active members of the First Baptist Church of Taylor, TX.

Preceding him in death was his father Jewell and mother Violet, and brother Leonard Wiedmeir.

Survivors include; daughters, Alana Stump (Randy) of Tomball, TX; Machelle Barnes (Gregg) of Round Rock, TX; granddaughter Rebekah Barnes of Round Rock, TX; grandsons, Caleb Barnes of Georgetown, TX , Jared Stump (Allison) of Yardley, PA; great-granddaughters: Danica Barnes & Allison DiCarlo; Natalie Stump; brothers, Jewell Wiedmier ( Carol) of Braymer, Jerald Wiedmier ( Barbara) of Braymer; sisters Lois Null (Donald) of Grant City.

Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church in Braymer, on Mar. 25, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. Interment is located at Wakenda Cemetery.

Memorials maybe made to Heritage Funeral Home in Chillicothe.

 Arrangements are under the direction of Heritage Funeral Home in Chillicothe, MO.
