Ruth R. Dolan

Ruth R. Dolan, age 88, of Hamilton, Mo., passed away on July 2, 2016, at the Hillcrest Manor Nursing Home in Hamilton. She had lived in Hamilton almost all of her life.

Ruth was born on June 1, 1928, in Hamilton, to Paul and Florence Mayes Hartley. She graduated from the Hamilton High School. She was a homemaker and mother. Ruth was an active member of the Kendall Chapel Church, south of Hamilton.

On March 10, 1951, she married Aaron Ray Dolan at the Kendall Chapel Church. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her parents and two brothers, Warren and W.C. (Bud) Hartley.

Survivors include three sons, Gary (Marsha) Dolan of Weatherby, Randy (Brenda) Dolan of Columbia, and Kevin (Charla) Dolan of Riverton, UT; seven grandchildren, Levi, Luke (Ashley) and Nathanael Dolan, all of Columbia, Andrew (Alissa) Dolan of Xiamen, China, Matthew Dolan of La Concepcion, Panama, Jonathan Dolan of Salt Lake City, UT, Amanda (David) Ashford of Riverton, UT; two step-grandchildren, Lee (Dana) Weickum of Monroe, OR and Lucy Sweiger of Maysville; seven step great-grandchildren, Zane, Reid, Ian and Ella Weickum and Brieana, Dalton, and Laynie Sweiger; and one great-grandchild, Reya Dolan.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 5, at 10:00 a.m. at the Kendall Chapel Church, south of Hamilton. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Highland Cemetery in Hamilton. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Chinese Christian Mission or the Kendall Chapel Church.
