Wilber Lloyd “Bud” Collins
Wilber Lloyd “Bud” Collins, age 86, passed away at North Kansas City Hospital in NKC, on Thursday, Jan. 7, 2021. Born August 14, 1934, he graduated in 1952 from Gilman City High School in Gilman City. He married Mavis Eileen Heitz on June 27, 1954, and retired from Bud Collins Sales Agency.
Bud most recently attended Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Liberty, before moving to Senior Star at Wexford Place Independent Living in Kansas City.
Survivors include his son, Terry of Lenexa, KS; daughter, Linda Becker (Damon) of Kansas City; and three grandchildren, Kamela, Josiah, and Gabrielle Becker.
Bud was preceded in death by his wife, Mavis; his brother, Lawrence Dale Collins; and parents, Ruble Wilber and Orpha Jane (Johnson) Collins.
