William L. Coots

William Lee Coots age 95, of Kidder passed away Nov. 27, 2023.

Lee was born Jan. 17, 1928 in Robinson, Kansas to William and Lena (Bryant) Coots.

Lee grew up in the Stewartsville and Cameron areas, graduating from Cameron High School in 1946. He married Virginia Marie Munn on February 8, 1948. She precedes him in death. Lee and Virginia moved to the family farm in 1950 where Lee farmed and worked part-time for Everett Quarries, until retiring.

He was a former member, and served on the board of Barwick Methodist Church. Lee was a supporter of Kidder United Methodist Church. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, neighbor, and friend. 

Lee is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Virginia; daughter, Diana Marie Quisenberry; siblings, Margaret Fore, Roy Coots, Gladys Dietzschold, and an infant brother.

Survivors: daughter, Brenda Coots; grandson, Randall Quisenberry, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and special neighbors.

Services were held at 11:00 AM, Fri., Dec. 1, 2023 at the Kidder United Methodist Church.

Visitation was one hour prior to the service at 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM.

Burial in Graceland Cemetery in Cameron.
