Seven Hamilton girls attend State

The American Legion Auxiliary, Department of Missouri, hosted it's 74th Session of Missouri Girls State June 21-27, 2015, at The University of Central Missouri, Warrensburg.
This is an intense program that promotes patriotism, pride in America, respect for our flag, and an in depth look at how our government works. MGS is a mythical state that the citizens learn to govern at the city, county and state levels. Of the 860 girls from across the state of Missouri, 7 girls in attendance were sponsored from Hamilton. Six of them were able to attend the August 18th ALA meeting and tell of their experiences. The ALA would like to extend many thanks to the sponsors, because without them, these girls wouldn't be able to attend this fantastic program!
