Morgan Prather Running for Wichita State

Former Penney High track and field star Morgan Prather competed in the Missouri Valley Conference Indoor Championships on February 27th and 28th at the University of Northern Iowa for the Lady Shockers of Wichita State.

Prather ran the 400 meters in 57.5 seconds, a personal record. In the distance medley, Morgan ran the 800 meter portion of the medley as the Lady Shockers placed 7th. The multiple Missouri State Gold Medalist ran a 55.8 split as part of the 4 x 400 meter relay team which placed 3rd with a 5th all time Wichita State record best time of 3:46.26. The Shockers placed 2nd overall with 111 team points, just 10 points shy of 1st place Illinois State.
