Penney golfers win Best Shot

Penney High's Ethan Green and Caden Brown won the Albany Best Shot Tournament on April 11th with a score of 72. Wyatt Gregory and Nick Wyckoff also metaled by placing 6th with an 80. Quinn Brown and Nick Hartley shot an 81. Eleven schools were represented in the Tournament.

Penney High's golf team continues to play well for Coach Adam Summers. On April 12th, Hamilton placed first at Maysville with the host coming in second and Stanberry third with team scores of 167, 191, and 205 respectively. The top two players on the day were from Hamilton. Ethan Green placed first with a score of 36 and Wyatt Gregory was second shooting a 39.

The Plattsburg Tournament was held on April 14th. Penney High shot 340 and came in second behind Gallatin whose team score was 314. Individually, Wyatt Gregory placed second with a 78. Ethan Green shot an 82 while Quinn Brown and Nick Hartley had a best ball score of 89, and Caden Brown and Nick Wyckoff shot a 91 in best shot.
