Wrestling - Hamilton Hornets vs. Lawson

The Hamilton Hornets, coached by Marc Schmidt, participated in a tri-meet at Lawson last Tuesday evening which included the host Cardinals and the Stanberry Bulldogs.

In the contest versus Lawson, the Hornets won the 106 #, 138 #, and 285 # classes. Radley Reed won the 106 class by fall in 1:33 over Seth Walters, Kevin Cooley won by fall in 3:01 in the 138 class over Dalton Hartman, and Garrett Trosper won a 4-2 decision in the 285 class over Lucas Swoboda. Derek Aiken lost a close 4-1 decision to Garrett Tripp in the 132 class, Lane Horinek lost by fall to Colton Williams in the 145 class, Justin Knudsen lost by fall in the 152 class to Dalton Cook, Hunter Blackburn went down by fall to Kameren Jenkins in the 170 class, and Tyler Trosper, in his first action of the season, lost by fall to Ethan Bowers in the 220 class.

In the matches versus Stanberry, Reed won by fall, Cooley won by fall,  Aiken won by a technical fall, Knudsen lost by fall, Blackburn lost by fall, and Garrett Trosper lost a close 6-5 decision.
